Sunday Morning: Family

by - June 17, 2018

Hello my beautiful people!

Today is Father's Day and I want to congratulate my dad, grandpa, brother and all the dads in their day but above all I want to be thankful the father of fathers, to our king, our creator, our provider, God! Because without him we would not be here, celebrating and honoring our parents.

I choose the topic Family instead of Father's Day because I want to emphasize the importance of the family in our lives. We have to let them know how much you love them and always be there for them. Even if you are already an adult with your own family, never forget that your parents will always be your parents and that in those times is when they most need your children. They need to feel that you love them, that you care for them, that you haven't forgotten them, that you value all the sacrifices they made for you, and not just one day for being father's or mother's day, but every day. Enjoy each day next to your family, create unique moments and look back to those moments of happiness that you and your family lived while see the photo album, watch some video, play in family or simply tell the stories. These moments are special because they transport you and make you remember the things that are worthwhile, the small moments and details that keep the memories saved. That is quality time and that's what matters.

The Lord's word said:

"Honor (respect, obey, care for) your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged in the land the Lord your God gives you." Exodus 20:12

Today I want you to go to your parents and family in general and let them know how much you love them, and that you always are going to be there for them. Even in distance you will keep the communication and always honor them.

Happy Sunday!
Happy Father's Day!
God Bless you all!
