Easter Sunday Morning

Hello guys, good morning!

Today I'm going to share with you a little devotional that I made the other day talking with God. First of all let's be thankful with the beautiful day that He gave us, because we are alive, we can open our eyes and be with the people we love! This bring me to the topic of my devotional Faith and Trust in the purposes of God in our lives.

"Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

It's something with I have been fighting and trying to maintain firm. Let me tell you that it haven't been easy, because sometimes I just want to give it up, but always He gave me new strengths to get up and fight. Even, when I was writing this devotional I did it know where start so I asked him to let me know which topic I could choose to share and make a difference in others (even myself). I had some topics in mind but any of them feels right, until I start reading a book that my sister gave me as a gift and when I start re-reading the first pages I found the perfect topic about why I'm here in the Earth?, what is my purpose?, in that moment I knew that this is the topic that I should talk about.

In the book, I found something that make me reflect and says: "God didn't leave us in middle of darkness to walk blindly." What they mean by that? Well, for me it means that if he let us in the darkness is for us to use our tools and be light, be light for others who are lost in darkness and don't know their way. Like his word said, He doesn't give you anything that you can't bear (1 Corinthians 10:13, "God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation (this case the challenges of life) also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it".) That doesn't mean that you don't going to experience all kind of things in this life, means that he would give you the strengths and tools to go through any challenge.

"You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not the children of the night or nor of darkness." (1 Thessalonians 5:5)

In order to have faith and trust in the purpose of God in your life you have to had a relation with him, why? Because that way you can hear him and you can talk to him, you can open your heart to him. Once you start a relationship with him, you will experience more in deep the things that he have for you. What God has designed for you proceeds from before you were born, in the bible said that He know you before you were growth in yours mother womb, He creates you and He did it with a purpose that exceed your own expectations and goals. You can make your own decisions, but your design here on earth is written by God and for God. That means, at least for me that He has a plan with his own goals and expectations of my life about how I have to lived it and embraced it. I believe that we can't just depend in our goals, we have to depend and trust of his like his word said:

"Those who trust in their riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf" (Proverbs 11:28)
"Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord."(Proverbs 16:20)
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." (Isaiah 40:31)
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

Those are just a few verses of the Bible that talk about the trust and faith in God and his purpose to our life. And more than words I had experiences his love, provision and protection in ways that I never expected. He has talked to me in different ways, even in the silence he talk to me. I'm not good in trying to interpret the messages but He always talks to me, so that one way or another I can understand the messages. Sometimes it takes me more longer to understand his word, but at the end I understand it. Like I said before it haven't been easy, the road has had its ups and downs but I don't regret believing in him, listen to him, trust him, and be his daughter.

Do you know what are your purpose on the Earth? Do you know for what you were create? If you do, let me tell you that I admire you for discovered it. I'm still in the search, but there is something that I'm 100% sure and is that whatever my purpose on earth is one of impact for others. I know that I'm light for others and I will let God work through me to help others find their way. If you don't know what is your purpose don't worry God will let you know just be patience and have faith in his plan. Its not easy have faith in something that we don't see, but that is faith,

"The faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen; "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which do appear" (Hebrews 11:1 & 3)
"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that he trying of your faith worked it patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God,that give it to all men liberally, and upbraided it not; and it shall be given him." (James 1:2-5)
I encourage you to believe and have faith; trust in God and his plan. He has show me his love and protection, when I'm been depressed, had anxiety, feel lonely, and help me find direction in my life specially when is about where I'm going to be next, what is going to be my next move to achieved my goals. I let him decide what is best for me and I don't regret it.
